about

Resilience is defined as the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties, toughness, strength, adaptability. Psychologists define resilience as the process of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats, or significant sources of stress.

Then, a person, family, culture, or race “bounces back” from these difficult experiences emerging even stronger than before. When you have resilience, you harness inner strength that helps you rebound from a setback or challenge.

Resilience won't make your problems go away — but resilience can give you the ability to see past them, finding enjoyment in life.

Examples?

Brian Bonds, Brian Boyer, and Kenneth Harrington are resilient.

Detroit Techno is resilient.

Our Detroit Music Culture is resilient.
